Metro has an effective, proven recruitment process modelled on the RCSA principles.
This process is outlined below:
1. A detailed job description is agreed upon between you and your Metro Consultant to start the process including timeframes and expectations.
2. Metro’s candidate database is checked for suitable candidates.
3. If current candidates do not match your specific criteria, advertising is placed by Metro. Our clients are informed and updated throughout this process.
4. Candidates are phone screened and booked in for interviews by Metro.
5. Registration forms and relevant testing, questionnaires, inductions and declarations are administered by Metro. These cover OHS, medical history, computer testing and other site specific requirements. These may include tests administered by a psychologist for senior management positions (for example, Verbal Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Mechanical Reasoning, Personality – NEO).
6. Licences and qualifications for specific jobs are checked, photocopied and filed at the time of registration.
7. Where possible a minimum of two reference checks are conducted by Metro on each suitable candidate. As per RCSA policy, we do not reference check using mobile phone numbers.
8. Every candidate that registers with Metro is checked for their ability to work in Australia with the Department of Immigration.
9. Where requested by the client, our candidates are also subjected to Australian Federal Police checks.
10. Candidate Profiles are presented to you for consideration where required. These include information sourced in the interview, testing results if required and reference check information.
11. Interviews and/or start dates are organised.
