Casual or Permanent?

The choice is yours. There are benefits to both casual and permanent placement options through Metro, depending on your specific requirements.

* Casual (with the option to offer permanency)

With casual candidates you only pay for the hours the candidate has worked. This option allows for flexibility. (Min 4hrs pay and charge for all casuals).

Your Metro Consultant can put together casual rates for you, based on an agreed hourly pay rate (as per current legislation eg. Award, EBA, AWA). These rates will include the base wage; casual loading and holiday leave loading, superannuation, workers compensation, payroll tax and relevant insurances.

While working casually through Metro, candidates are required to complete a timesheet each week. Metro will pay the candidate for the hours worked and will then invoice you weekly.

After an agreed number of consecutive weeks worked, you have the option to offer our casual candidate a permanent position at no additional cost.

* Permanent

A permanent placement secures your candidate for a long-term position.

With permanent placements you pay a one off placement fee which is calculated at an agreed percentage of the annual package.

When this placement fee is paid within 14 days of start date you will receive a three month guarantee period. So if the original candidate doesn’t work out within the first three months we will replace them free of charge.

* Subject to Metro's Terms & Conditions
